Help us get a laser!

We're just about ready to go to the bank and apply for our loan to get an Epilog Laser that can engrave & cut through wood & most plastics - and even mark/engrave on most metal.

Before we walk over there with our business plan and financial statements though, we want to give ourselves the best chance we can. We know a major part of bringing our A-game is showing them that there is enough demand in town to keep the laser running and creating awesome projects for our members (and yeah, making enough money to repay the loan.)

Here's what you can do to help us get a laser into your hands:
Write to us and tell us what you'd like to do with the laser, and let us share your enthusiasm with our lender.

While it doesn't have to be long (140 characters will do), the more specific you can be, the better. You don't have to spend too much time on it - just a few quick words about what you'd like to make, and how many hours per month you could see yourself using the laser if it costs $25/hr (hint: It will be 15% cheaper for members)

The best answer we hear from Asheville area residents for the laser use will win a free engraving on their laptop/phone/MP3 player/wine glass/hand (our lawyer says we can't do that last one) :(

To keep the responses useful for us and the bank though, please be honest about the amount of time you are willing to pay for. If you'd just like to enter the contest, that's cool, just add the tag no$ to your tweet or let us know in your email or text message. That way you still get entered in the contest, but we don't inflate our numbers for our financial estimates.
